General order supplier in Lahore, with import and export

Al-Harram Corporation is a general order supplier in Lahore, Pakistan, and also takes import and export orders. You send us a list of the goods your business or organisation needs. We confirm what we can source to your specification, quote in writing and handle the order through to invoice.

01

What is a general order supplier?

A general order supplier sources a range of goods on order, rather than selling one product line from stock. The buyer sends a list with quantities and specifications, and the supplier finds sellers, quotes and looks after the order until the goods are handed over and invoiced.

Al-Harram Corporation is a sole proprietorship in Lahore, registered with Pakistan's tax authority, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). General order supply, import and export are registered activities of the business. So we can take orders for goods bought in Pakistan and, where customs and trade rules allow, for goods entering or leaving the country.

02

Who uses a general order supplier?

A general order supplier suits businesses and organisations that need a mix of items and would rather deal with one supplier than several. Buyers in the UK, Europe or the Gulf can work with us by WhatsApp and email.

  • An office or small company in Pakistan with supplies to buy
  • An organisation that needs an invoice from an FBR-registered supplier
  • Someone checking which lines of a tender items list we can quote for
  • A business abroad looking for a sourcing agent in Pakistan
03

Why use a supplier instead of buying direct?

A supplier saves you the running around. You send one list and get back one quote and one invoice, instead of phoning sellers, comparing prices, checking sizes and models and collecting a receipt from each shop yourself.

Your accounts team may also want an invoice in a business name from an FBR-registered supplier. We invoice as Al-Harram Corporation. If you need something specific on the invoice, such as a sales tax number, tell us at the start and we will confirm whether we can provide it.

If you are abroad, we contact sellers in Lahore for you and report back in English or Urdu.

04

How do I order from a general order supplier?

Every order starts with your enquiry. We do not sell from a catalogue.

  1. Send your list

WhatsApp us on +92 322 1430630 or email info@alharramcorporation.com with item names, quantities, specifications or model numbers, photos if you have them, and where the goods need to go.

  2. We check the list

We go through it line by line and ask about anything unclear. If we cannot source an item, or cannot supply it under the trade rules that apply to us, we tell you at this point. Rules in your country are yours to confirm.

  3. You get a written quote

We collect prices from sellers and quote in our name for the items we can supply. The quote sets out what it includes, such as packing, transport or export documents, and the payment terms.

  4. You confirm and we order

Once you accept the quote and its payment terms, we buy the goods, prepare the agreed documents and keep you updated.

  5. Handover and invoice

The goods are handed over or delivered as the quote sets out, with our invoice.

05

How do your import and export services work?

Import and export orders follow the same steps, with extra checks. Before we quote, we check the goods against the customs and trade rules that apply to us as the supplier, including any licence or permit we would need. We turn down goods that cannot be traded.

The quote names the shipping documents we will prepare, such as a commercial invoice and packing list, and who arranges transport and customs clearance at each end. Duties in your country are for your customs agent to confirm.

06

When does it make sense to use a supplier?

It makes sense when you have a long list of different items and nobody free to buy them, or when chasing sellers yourself would cost more time than the order is worth. It usually does not for a single item you could buy nearby, or when you already buy direct from a manufacturer on good terms. If you need a delivery date fixed before we have seen your list, we are the wrong choice.

07

What is included in a supply order?

Depending on the order, the work can include:

  • A plain answer on which items we can and cannot supply
  • Collecting prices from sellers, then one written quote from us
  • Placing the order with the sellers and following it up
  • The documents agreed in the quote, including our invoice
  • Updates by WhatsApp or email, in English or Urdu
08

What we do not do

These limits apply to every order.

  • We do not trade restricted or prohibited goods.
  • We do not give standard lead times or promise shipping routes, destinations or delivery dates in advance. The quote sets out what we can offer.
  • We do not promise product certifications. If you need one, ask at the start and we will say whether we can provide it.
  • We do not give legal, tax or customs advice. We check the rules only to decide whether we can take an order.
  • We work from Lahore and have no offices anywhere else, in Pakistan or abroad.
09

What affects the cost of a supply order?

The cost depends on the goods and quantities, and on how tight the specification is (a named brand or model narrows the choice of sellers). Packing, transport and the number of sellers involved also count, and for import or export, so do border documents and charges. We do not publish prices, because each list is priced from sellers' current quotes.

After a short conversation about your list, we quote a fixed scope in writing. If the list changes, we update the quote before anything is bought.

Q&A

Questions and answers

Do you import goods into Pakistan as well as export them?

Yes, both. We can take orders for goods coming into Pakistan and for goods leaving it, where the customs and trade rules that apply to us allow it. Some goods need a licence or permit, and some cannot be traded at all. Duties are confirmed by the customs agent who clears the goods, not by us.

What is on a general order supplier items list?

An items list is whatever the buyer needs, written line by line with item names, quantities and specifications. There is no standard list, and we do not work from a fixed catalogue. Send us yours and we will mark which lines we can supply before we quote.

How do general order supplier tenders work in Pakistan?

A buyer, often a government department, publishes a tender with an items list, specifications and conditions for suppliers, such as the registrations they must hold. Suppliers send priced bids with the documents it asks for. Send us the tender and its items list, and we will first tell you whether we meet its conditions, then which lines we can quote for.

Can you act as a general order supplier in Islamabad?

We are based in Lahore and have no office in Islamabad. Buyers in Islamabad, Rawalpindi or anywhere else in Pakistan can still send us a list by WhatsApp or email. Whether we can deliver to your address, and on what terms, is confirmed in the quote for each order.

Can you be our sourcing agent in Pakistan if we are in the UK or Europe?

Yes, on an enquiry basis. Send us what you need with specifications and quantities. We look for sellers in Pakistan, check what we can supply under the trade rules that apply to us, and send a written quote. We do not promise shipping routes or delivery times in advance. Import rules and duties in your country are for you or your customs agent to confirm.

Is Al-Harram Corporation an import export company in Pakistan?

It is a registered import and export business, but not a company in the legal sense. Al-Harram Corporation is a sole proprietorship in Lahore, registered with the FBR, and import and export are registered activities of the business. If your procurement rules only accept a private limited company registered with the SECP, tell us at the start so you do not wait for a quote you cannot use.

Tell us what you need.

We start with a short conversation, then send a fixed scope and quote.
